Flooding @ Cheras

This particular morning I woke up as usual to head to the shower. Turned out it rained heavily after a while outside...for quite sometime. It feels so tempting to just snuck back into bed for another few winks under the blanket.

Anyways, we headed out of the house when the rain had slightly slowed down. Not much, but then again...it was still heavy none the less. After having drive down a bit, we saw how bad was it with all the waters that keep gushing out of the drain onto the roads.

From that, there was a small jam near the bottom of the hill near the petrol station. Turns out there was a flood there...and a car that had jammed in the water in the pouring rain. Luckily he had stalled on the left side and not blacked the whole road up. Cars had to take turns to go through the waters...they were high enough to stall your engines.

When it rains like this...the best is to stay home or to stay indoors, away from floods and also from massive jam. We took an hour on the road to get to office that day. Thank god we got to office safe and sound.
